Description
After giving his “home” wine away to friends for a couple years this “gentleman’s vineyard” became the inspiration for establishing our company, Baker Family Wines. Dusty enjoys being hands on in his vineyard when he is not traveling for baseball. This wine is extremely limited in production!

A wonderful wine to pair with grilled meats, Salmon,( one of our favorites), pork and wild game, sausages, grilled mushrooms and a summer favorite, ratatouille.
Production Notes:
To think in 2007 when this vineyard was planted, we would have such a classic wine produced is unimaginable. We should have planted more than 120 vines!
Tasting Notes:
Dusty's Vineyard is really expressing classic Old World Syrah characteristics. That being an earthy smell, think mushrooms and clove spice, which is complemented in the mouth by bright red fruit flavors, vanilla, more spice, with a slightly sweet finish.

The 2019 vintage is the 7th commercial vintage from this 120+ vine plot in Dusty’s “backyard” in Placer County, California.
