Montagnaro is an amazing 50/50 Zinfandel and Barbera blend showcasing the varietals Amador County is known for. It is a crystal clear ruby red in color with hints of chocolate, anise and bright red fruit on the nose. Flavors on the palate start soft but quickly explode to juicy black cherry. The wine is supple with a smooth and lingering finish. It pairs with close friends around a nice fire!
