Description

This Cabernet is dark garnet in the glass. It has good weight and body. The nose has hints of smoke and meat as well as dark fruits. The mouth feel is smooth and silky with soft tannins making this wine very approachable. There is a bit of black currant on the long, lovely finish. Ready to drink now or over the next 10 years. Pair with red meats and aged cheeses. 22 months in French oak barrels, and now, over 18 months in the bottle. Grapes were sourced from Mayacamas Vineyard in the Moon Mountain appellation of Sonoma, known for their wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
