Blaufränkisch is one of our most celebrated wines. This Austrian grape is perfectly suited to our coolclimate region, and we have been crafting Blaufränkisch since 2007. This grape provides long, lacytannins, round volume, and the expected pop of acidity on the finish.

Production Notes:

The fermentation took place in small lot, open-top fermenters. The use of different yeast strains add to nuance and complexity. Aging in French oak enhances mid palate while respecting the fruitful notes of rustic black cherry and mulberry which carry to a peppercorn finish.
