The second vintage of our Réserve Rosé is a nod to the classic rosés of Southern France, where Rolle, otherwise known as Vermentino, is frequently amongst the cast of characters, along with Grenache. Well-received in 2019, we opted to continue this experiment with our the stunning Vermentino block at our fingertips on the ranch. The result is the epitome of purity, full stop. Harvested early, the Grenache and Vermentino are whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel separately. After fermentation, the Rolle is gently incorporated into the blend. This wine is a delight from start to finish, with its pale coral hue. With aromatics of crisp watermelon and fraise du bois, the palate abounds with fresh juice from your favorite citrus from meyer and grapefruit, to intense blood orange and hints of guava. Refined and nuanced on the palate, it is incredibly focused with noted minerality, bracing mouthwatering acidity and a pristine finish. Its ethereal nature and lightness of being make it a perfect pair with your sweetheart. But, if you must eat, ceviche– cauliflower or traditional– could make for a perfect summer evening
