Wine Profile
Food Pairing Notes:
This wine holds excellent acidity and is suitable for drinking now. The freshness of this wine pairs with herbaceous food and fresh vegetables with hints of crisp notes for oysters and luscious food, exhibiting vibrant notes for green salads and bites.
Production Notes:
This wine was fermented in a Stainless-Steel Tank from our Estate, Stan Clarke vineyards. The grapes used for this wine were Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Aligoté. A beautiful blend of grape varieties that brings a great expression of the sense of place in the Walla Walla Valley.
Tasting Notes:
The freshness of this wine contains harmonious acidity. The yellow lemon peel notes are predominant in this wine, followed by juicy melon, Thai basil, and hints of thyme: the light finish and great crispiness.
Vintage Notes:
The vintage extended longer, and Spring frost affected a few areas in Washington State. Therefore some of the vines have bud damage. The temperatures started rising with moderate cold nights, which helped to hold the acidity and extend the ripeness of the grapes. In this vintage, we harvested the grapes earlier to hold more acidity and freshness in the wines.
