Wine Profile
Food Pairing Notes:
The high intensity of this wine and freshness of flavor, pairs very well with any type of food that does not have too strong flavors that overwhelm the delicatesse of this wine. Desserts are the perfect combination for this wine and the red sauces in a white or soft red meat would be excellent with this wine.
Production Notes:
The rose wine was made it in Stainless-Steel Tank from our own Estate Stan Clarke Vineyards in Walla Walla Valley.
Tasting Notes:
Rosé fans will appreciate the casual sophistication and elegant structure of this wine. Bright fruit flavours of strawberry, raspberry, candy cherry and hints of roses are beautifully complemented by subtle notes of concord grape cream and white pepper Skittles with a long, sweet finish.
Vintage Notes:
The vintage extended longer, and Spring frost affected a few areas in Washington State. Therefore some of the vines have bud damage. The temperatures started rising with moderate cold nights, which helped to hold the acidity and extend the ripeness of the grapes. In this vintage, we harvested the grapes earlier to hold more acidity and freshness in the wines.
