Description
Chardonnay is one of our oldest vines in the College Cellars. You would love this wine!. Our Myles Anderson estate vineyard was established in 2012. Named for our founding director, the vineyard contains Barbera, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Aligoté. A special block of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier is cultivated for sparkling wine. This vineyard contains a garden of native plants to host beneficial insects.

Food Pairing Notes:
The Chardonnay Wine is very versatile and pairs perfectly with mild and creamy cheeses, including Brie, ricotta, cream cheese, Camembert, Chevre, Roquefort, and gorgonzola. The complexity of the chardonnay engage with meats with soft sauces and it is a good way to start or finishing a meal.
Production Notes:
This Chardonnay was blended with other grape varieties to round the mouthfeel of this wine. Small percentage of Aligoté which is known as the third Burgundy grape with hints of florality and "thick skins" which add texture to this wine. The freshness of this wine is very distinctive, such a "Chablis" style wine, that brings this special minerality on the taste with white rocky stones. .
Tasting Notes:
The creamy texture balanced by an earthy and stone minerality, undertones of herbaceous Thai basil and green apple, pineapple, peaches and chamomile with a pleasant pleasing finish of lemon tart.
