Tasting Notes:
Currents, cherry, toasty, extractive, black pepper all come together with light menthol and good balanced acidity. This approachable Cabernet is made the way it used to be made back in the 50’s and 60’s in the “Old World” style.
Vintage Notes:
Normal rain, later bud break. No frost. Hot summer, but no real heat spikes during ripening. Harvest 10 days later than 2017 with larger than average crop size.
