I’ve always loved producing this Alsatian-style blend. The Symphony brings a fruit-forward beginning to the wine while the Rousanne makes up the full-bodied finish. This wonderful blend has tantalizing tropical notes of kiwi, jasmine, and passion fruit, with a hint of citrus to create a flavorful wine with good balance and mouth-watering acidity. We had some fun coming up with this wine. Annually, a group of wild and crazy Arizona woman come to Napa Valley on what they call “Chick Weekend.” Of course, we are always one of their favorite stops. After a four-hour lunch set in the beautiful Napa Valley Vineyards with plenty of Just One Last Kiss to drink, we convinced the ladies to kiss a poster board. Convincing them was not too difficult. You can see from their lips on the label that this is one fun group of Arizona ladies. This was one lunch I will always remember.

Tasting Notes:

Made in a semi-dry style with mouth watering balance, the wine is a fruit cocktail of honeysuckle, crystalized lemon, peach stone and warm baking spices. The palate shows hints of apricot and allspice with good minerality and a balanced crisp acidity and light sweetness. This is a wine that will go well with fruit salad on a warm summer day. It will also go well with light style pasta, fish, or chicken. Nice hot tub wine!
