Description
The Grapes for the JSL Chardonnay was hand pick, field sorted and whole cluster press, then cold settled for 24 hours. The juice was sent directly into 100% French Oak Barrels for primary fermentation to enhance the natural richness of the wines. weekly lees stir was done to enhanced toasty notes and to integrate the oak for an overall balance. The wine is barrel fermented, aged for14 months in 100% in French oak and put through malolactic fermentation to encouraged a lush buttery and creaminess.
