Wine Profile
Food Pairing Notes:
It is a pretty easy wine to pair with food thanks to its strong earthy and savory notes. The wine is particularly good with grilled meats and vegetables, and Paella. It goes especially well with BBQ'd or smoked meats. Grits, polenta, and dishes with corn as a major ingredient and spicy Mexican or Indian dishes shine with Tempranillo.
Production Notes:
Two clones of head trained Tempranillo vines grown on south-facing slopes at 2200-2350 feet elevation in two blocks, 3 and 4. Aged in neutral oak barrels with 20% new French oak for 2.5 years; bottled in
Vintage Notes:
It’s a bit young yet and will benefit from aging or decanting.
