Wine Profile
Production Notes:
100% estate-grown Tannat. As of 2021, there were fewer than 800 acres planted in California. We have a small plot of it, enough to make one barrel or, in a good year, two barrels. Only 24 cases made.
Tasting Notes:
Our first 100% Tannat has an herbaceous, green olive and red fruit nose. The wine is silky and fat with a good acid/tannin balance rounded out by red fruit, a long finish that sparkles on the palate, and a gorgeous color.
